I’m excited to finally share a project that holds a special place in my heart — Xyron, a character I worked on a few years ago during my time as Lead Character Artist at Couch Heroes Game Studio.

This character was part of the early production phase of one of the studio’s titles, and it was built through a close and rewarding collaboration with Clara, one of the most dedicated and talented junior artists I had the pleasure to mentor.
Clara was responsible for developing the initial concept, blockout, and highpoly sculpt, and I stepped in during the low-poly optimization and texturing phases, making sure the final asset met both technical standards and artistic goals.

Now that the project has been greenlit for public sharing, I’m grateful to finally be able to post it.
A huge thank you to the team at Couch Heroes for allowing this to happen especially Mr. Vardis Vardinogiannis for trusting me with such an important part of the development process, I also want to thank Marc Vives Dalmau for the amazing smart materials he created for our game and Clara for her hard work and the great energy she brought to the character team.
Also a big thanks also goes to my friends and colleagues at Couch Heroes, who made the awesome video footage in UE5!
